Hello ♥ Today I have a very cute nail art to show you. It’s old fashioned candy buttons nails. Although many colors were used, these were basically soft pastel shades so on nails it’s very cute and not over the top. I think it’s great to wear for Spring :D (I created this almost a month ago„,i know it’s overdue, but better than nothing right :) I hope you like it, enjoy!

Wet n Wild megalast - I Need a Refresh-Mint

Today I have a very cute nail polish to share with you, and it’s actually on my nails right now. It’s “I Need a Refresh-Mint” from Wet n Wild megalast nail polish line! This is a very cute and lovely Tiffany & Co. signature cream aqua type of shade with a glossy finish! Very fun and bright for spring and summer, yet not neon-ly bright. So it’s very wearable if you think neon colors are just too bright for you. It gives your nails a pop without looking over the top!

I Need a Refresh-Mint, 2 coats + top coat

This cream texture of this polish is just fabulous, very easy and smooth to apply! It’s creamy and opaque! 2 coats will completely give you the full opacity you desired! And the consistency is pretty good as well (not too thick or thin). On MUA, people compared this to China Glaze’s For Audrey. This is a great dupe with cheaper price tag. I don’t own For Audrey myself, but I’ve seen comparison swatches and they both look very much identical!

The color was pretty true to the color in the bottle! I did not have any problems working with this polish. The polish brush was quite wide compared to most brands, and I actually quite like it because it makes the application way much easier especially for cream polishes. I prefer this wide brush over Revlon colorstay cream polish brush, this is easier and faster in application!! I just need to be a little bit careful when taking out and putting back the polish brush. Drying time is nothing special, but not on the longer side wither. With the price (CVS $1.99, got it when there’s a sale for $1.39), beautiful color, I am very pleased :D

Hello everyone! How are you doing with your Christmas/long weekend?

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a restful break. It’s been a

while since I post the last blog post! December is such a busy month for me.

I will try to post more in the upcoming month :)

Today I wanted to share a nail polish I wore during Christmas which

I absolutely love. It’s a super super gorgeous shade from OPI’s holiday collection, The Muppets in the shade called Warm & Fozzie. This is one of my favorite out of all 12 shades from the Muppets collection.

Warm & Fozzie is such a gorgeous shade. It’s hard to describe the

exact color combination of this nail polish, but I will try my best^^

This lovely has a mix of the bronze, golden brown or golden bronze,

chrome, copper type of shade with a good amount of shimmers,

micro flakey metallic glitters in gold, copper, bronze with a tiny

hint of green and red. It’s very complex, but the combination is

definitely amazingly beautiful! These fine glitters catch the light

at different angles so the color shift a bit as your fingers move.

The effect is truly stunning, the glitters are not super gigantic,

it’s just perfect. This shade is great for the holiday and it’s

versatile/wearable even for everyday/work because of its

warm neutral shade.

Formula ia pretty good. The consistency is quite thin and pretty

easy to apply, even better, 2 coats will give your nails completely

opaque. I was quite surprised with it’s drying time - in my humble

opinion, it dries quite fast compared to other glitter polishes.

As for the lasting power, with a good top coat, (I used 2 coats of

Sally Hansen’s Instra-Dri Anti-Chip Top coat), the polish last for a full

five days with only tiny chips from the edges/finger tips.

Revlon Top Speed First Class

Got this Revlon Top Speed in First Class the other day at Target

First Class is a Target exclusive, it is a lovely creamy sailor blue,

a medium-toned that’s not too dark and not too bright

Love the formulation of this polish, it’s fairly easy to apply and true to their

descriptions online. Drying time is pretty fast, but I waited a bit longer to

make sure they’re completely dry. Revlon Top Speed line claims

there’s no topcoat needed, however I applied another layer of Sally Hansen’s

Instra-Dri anti-chip top coat (<- favorite top coat for now!!!) to keep the polish

more long-lasting.

Sparkling Holiday Nails

Holidays is around the corner, today I’d share a very pretty and sparkling

holiday nail tutorial! It’s very simple and easy to create!

Nail polishes used, from left to right

Rimmel Gold Silk, e.l.f. Golden Goddess, Quick dry top coat

1) 1 coat of the essie base coat (you can use any base coat from any brand)

2) 2 coats of Rimmel Gold Silk (to create a soft rose gold base, view review here)

3) 2 coats of e.l.f. Golden Goddess (for the mix of gold glitters and sparkling effect)

4) 1-2 coats of the top coat, and you’re done! ^_^

these mix of glitters are so hard to capture from my camera,

but I think this one shows nicely! As my hands move, these

glitters shine gorgeously! I really like it! What do you think?

Review: e.l.f. Royal Purple

Last Friday I had elf’s Royal Purple on my nails.

I really liked this gorgeous shimmery purple,

especially with my winter/dark outfit, they just look stunning.

Royal Purple is a pink/fuchsia undertone purple shimmer,

opacity is pretty good, 2 coats is all you need.

This shade really gave my fingers pop,

and brighten up the skin tone on my hands!

I really love its micro-shimmer in this polish.

The brush is cheap and a little bit weird to apply (just like other elf polishes)

However, the application is quite smooth because of its formulation.

It’s a bit sheer the first coat if applied thinly, but 2nd coat will

give you a completely opaque and lovely finish.

Drying time is OK, but I waited a bit longer just to make sure

they’re completely dry.

downsides: I found that these elf nail polishes all require a good and “hard”

topcoat as they usually chip on the second day… Also, they are not hard enough

(after completely dry) I noticed there’re some miner dents (I only applied

a regular top coat)… other than that, this polish is great for it’s shimmery shade

as well as it’s price! I just wish it’s more long-lasting..

Nail of the Day: E.L.F. Red Velvet

Today’s NOTD is a holiday shade from elf in Red Velvet

It’s a gorgeous deep and rich red with super fine shimmer in it..

very very pretty…

application is quite easy and smooth for this polish

1 coats will completely give you an opaque finish

(don’t we just love it a bit more when we only need 1-2 layers^^)

but I went 2 coats to see if color will look different

I like it with 2 coats because it made the finish richer

and deeper and more complete!

packaging is simple, square glass bottle with black cap

this shade is from elf holiday nail polish set of 5 polishes

so one only costs less than $1

with these gorgeous finish for the low cost

I think it’s a good buy^^

Estée Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

Another eye makeup remover post today!

It’s Estée Lauder’s Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

3.4oz/100ml $15.50

I received this as a Gift with Purchase, in sample size 50ml

This is a very good and gentle eye makeup remover,the formula is very very gentle, lightweight and no greasiness. It sweeps away (non-waterproof) eye makeup without leaving any oil residue.

However, it’s very difficult to remove my “waterproof” mascara andI need to use a lot of this remover in order to dissolve and remove them!(I currently use Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Flared waterproof)

And it takes a long time to remove the waterproof mascara. I would say about 4-5 minutes minimum each eye (depends on how thick you applied the mascara) padding the remover for waterproof mascara to dissolve. There’s no way I can just wipe my eyes and remove my mascara!

I would love this eye makeup remover more if it can remove my waterproofmascara easier because I really like the formula, very gentle and did not burnor sting my eyes. But for the cost and time it takes to remove waterproof, I don’t think I would want to purchase a full size…..

Nail of the Day: E.L.F. Metal Madness

Today I felt like to have some holographics on my nails, it’s E.L.F. Metal Madness

This is a gorgeous metallic gunmetal/charcoal shade with holographic shimmer.

Only 2 coats were needed for a opaque finish.
These holographic or multicolor shimmer blend very well in the polish, very pretty.

But they are not easy to capture from my camera… :(

Today’s post featured my all time favorite eye makeup remover pads from ALMAY! They are moisturizing eye make up remover padsand oil free eye makeup remover pads
I especially LOVE the moisturizing one from the left. I have been using this to remove my eye makeup especially waterproof mascara and eyeliner for the past 4-5 years and I still love this very much!

This moisturizing eye makeup remover pads are infused with a botanical blend of aloe, cucumber and green tea to nourish lashes and delicate skin. It’s really gentle for my eyes and did a great job in removing my waterproof mascaras!

Yes it’s oily and greasy after using these pads, but that’s what I love about theseremover pads, because they make it easy to dissolve and remove waterproofeye makeup without tugging and rubbing my lashes and eye-area skin!

For the oil free eye makeup remover pads, I must say I did not like it at all when I first used it because it did nothing in removing waterproof mascara and was left inmy bathroom shelf for quite a long time! Until one day when I experimenteddifferent eye makeup looks and I totally messed it up with the look I don’t like.While I was looking for things to clean my eye makeup, I saw this oil free andgave it a try. It worked like a charm, few gentle wipes will remove my waterproofeye pencil and eye shadows! and I was ready for the new eye makeup! ^_^

I always use waterproof eye pencil or liner with waterproof mascara so I do notknow how well it is for removing non-waterproof eye makeups. But if you wantto do different eye makeup looks at the same time, this is great! All you need to do is putting on eyelid primer and you’re good to go for the eye makeup!

I just couldn’t make up my mind choosing one color from the E.L.F. Holiday Nail Polish Set for my Nail of the Day
All these 5 colors look so pretty to me so I decided to swatch all the colors on my nails ^-^ sounds good? Keep reading.
Left to Right: Golden Goddess, Royal Purple, Mod Mauve, Red Velvet, Metal Madness

Golden Goddess is a clear based shimmer/glitter polish.It looks so pretty in the bottle, but I wish it shows more goldwhen applying on the nail. I applied 4 coats and still can see through my nail underneath. The bigger hexagonal glitter is moreof a silver/multicolor based glitter, very pretty, however, I found it a little bit hard to get them on the nails. I think this will alsolook great layering on other colors!

Royal Purple is a pink/fuchsia undertone purple shimmer, good opacity, 2 coats is all you need for this opaque finish! Application is very easy and smooth for this one, too. I did not have “HIGH” hope tothis shade, but it turned out very pretty, gorgeous color!

Mod Mauve is a very creamy brown/mauve-tone color without any shimmer or glitter. This is also the only one color that doesn’t match the picture on E.L.F. website. The one on their website shows more pink rather than brown. Actual color is a darker mauve witha hint of brown to it (Mod Mauve!). I think this is a special and muddy mauve shade.

Red Velvet, such a cute name, reminds me of yummy red velvet cakes ha ha ^-^ I really love this shade. It’s a deep and bright red with very pretty shimmer to it. Very easy to apply, 2 coats were essential for this gorgeous opaque look!This added sparkles made this shade so pretty, great for the holidays!

Metal Madness is a metallic gunmetal/charcoal color with very fine multi-color micro-glitter/shimmer. so so pretty! This shade is stunning, and it’s such aperfect holiday color! Application is fairly easy and smooth, 2 coats will give you an opaque gorgeous finish!

With the price of $4.50 for these 5 lovely shade, these are only $0.90/each
you get glittery, creamy, and holiday shimmery shades all in a set.I’d say they really worth the money and worth the try^-^

This is such a pretty and young lip color, I have already tried it.

It has a satin and cream finish and really long lasting and not drying!

I think this is a full size lipstick, if not, it should be pretty much close to a full size which will cost $24
