Midnight Romance Nails

Hello Everyone! Today I’d like to share a nail tutorial that I created and super adored. I named it ‘Midnight Romance’ because of the glittery purples and the lovely blue. This Midnight Romance Nails is very simple to create. It is versatile for any winter outfits and is also great for the winter seasons.

Revlon Top Speed First Class

Got this Revlon Top Speed in First Class the other day at Target
First Class is a Target exclusive, it is a lovely creamy sailor blue,
medium-toned that’s not too dark and not too bright
Love the formulation of this polish, it’s fairly easy to apply and true to their
descriptions online. Drying time is pretty fast, but I waited a bit longer to
make sure they’re completely dry. Revlon Top Speed line claims
there’s no topcoat needed, however I applied another layer of Sally Hansen’s
Instra-Dri anti-chip top coat (<- favorite top coat for now!!!) to keep the polish
more long-lasting.

Nail of the Day: Revlon Facets of Fuchsia and Review

Ladies and gentlemen, today’s nail of the day is Revlon’s new shade…

Nail Enamel - Expressionists in lovely black/purple called Facets of Fuchsia

I should have called it Nail of the Weekend
because I’ve been wearing this polish for the past 3 days ha ha..

This is a super super gorgeous shade,

great dupe for Deborah Lippmann’s Bad Romance

Facets of Fuchsia 3 coats with 2 top coats

Brush: a little bit long and narrow, but the application is quite easy and smooth

Nail Polish: This is a black based jelly like polish with a combination

of mini glitter and larger hexagonal glitter, both in a very beautiful metallic purple

Opacity: 2 coats will give you an opaque gorgeous finish, but I just went 3

Price:  You can’t beat a great glitter nail polish for under $5 ^-^

Staying Power: I have been wearing this polish for 3.5 days with no chips,

so I would say the staying power is pretty good (with 2 top coats)…

Overall: I personally think this nail polish looks cuter on shorter nails.

(long nails tend to look tacky and have a gothic feeling)

This is a very very gorgeous nail polish with a lot cheaper in price

compared to DL Bad Romance, I think Revlon will suffice^^

two thumps up!!!

Revlon Matte Lipstick - Pink Pout (vs Rimmel Airy Fairy)

Today’s post goes to Revlon Matte Lipstick - Pink Pout

This is a creamy baby-pink/nude pink and a lilac hint

to the lipstick with a lovely matte finish.

The color is true to what the product picture shows and stays true on the lips.

This is my go to drugstore lipstick…it instantly adds freshness and brightens

the face a bit, very lovely and natural… However, the formula for this lipstick

is a little drier so I recommend using a lip balm underneath. Apply the lip balm

for at least 5 minutes, once your lip absorbed the moisture, you can apply

the lipstick. And you will have your lovely “matte” finish lips. Another way is

to use lip scrub, it will not only eliminates dry, flaky skin and leaves the lips

soft and moisturized.

Here you can find how to make your own lip scrub

I tried this hand scrub recipe to my lips, it works very very good :)

                                      gorgeous matte pink

When I saw this Revlon Pink Pout in the store, I thought it’s a bit similar to

Rimmel’s Airy Fairy, see picture above, the color stickers are so similar right?

The lipstick is plastic wrapped, it is hard to tell what the color look like..

I picked it up and thought I’d give it a try since the color is so pretty.. Comparisons of these 2 lovelies (under natural sunlight)

Swatches of the two under natural sunlight
They are actually quite different,

both colors are so pretty and they give a nature nude-pink shade.

very happy with the new shade I got.
